he A’sitapiiksi (Young People) Powwow Club is designed to invest in our First Nation youth and children ages 6 to 17 years of age focus in holistic approach in promoting the health and well-being that positively impact the physical, mental/emotional, social, spiritual and cultural aspects of our youth. The A’sitapiiksi Powwow program is to empowering the youth through powwow dancing to build their confidence, self-esteem, and self-identity to become proud “Niitsitapi (Real people)”. Blackfoot Language will also be promoted to teach to the youths and children. Powwow dancing and songs is a healing and physical connection to our Blackfoot way of life & Identity.
